Emily Stewart, aka 'Sensible Emily', is an award-winning business and finance journalist at the ABC. She has almost two decades experience working for national news and current affairs programs across television, radio and online. She has championed the introduction of personal finance to the ABC's coverage, beginning with the first series of The Pineapple Project podcast in 2018, where the name Sensible Emily was born. She is best known for her regular personal finance newsletter, Your Money Explained, with Sensible Emily, which has a very active community.

Her first book is being launched in July called "Sensible Money" Where she gives practical tips and tricks to help set up the financial foundations to go from surviving to thriving.
